Treasure Island Hotel and Casino , also known as TI, is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip.  The hotel has a tram that connects it to the Mirage and also a pedestrian bridge that connects to the Fashion Show Mall shopping center.  Treasure Island is owned and operated by real estate investor Phil Ruffin.

Treasure Island opened on October 27, 1993 and had a whimsical pirate theme to attract families.  In 2003, the hotel largely abandoned its pirate theme for a more contemporary resort in efforts to focus more on adults.  The original arcade and kid friendly pool areas were replaced with an adult friendly hot tub, contemporary nightclub and party bar.

Entertainment at Treasure Island includes a free show, “The Sirens of TI”, and Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere.  Mystere has been voted nine times as the best production show in the city by the Las Vegas Review Journal reader’s poll.  Upscale dining at Treasure Island features, Khotan, Phil’s Italian Steakhouse, and Isla Mexican Kitchen.  The hotel also offers 7 additional cadual dining restaurants.  Nightlife, bars and lounges include Gilley’s Saloon, Kahunaville Party Bar, Isla Tequila Bar, and the Breeze Bar.  Also featured at Treasure Island is a tropical outdoor heated pool and hot tub.
